I am currently a junior going into my senior year in the fall, at the University of Northern Colorado. I am studying Elementary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies. **For my availablity-currently I am available on Friday-Sunday but come May my hours open up and become much more flexible. Then in August my availabilty become Mon/Wed After 4pm and all day Fridays. I am very flexible and willing to work with all parents but for general knowledge that is basically my availablity.
Experience
I would like to be a tutor for Elementary kids in order to help gain some experience before starting off in my classroom as a teacher. I have learned a lot while in school and all of my classes have been based on working with kids and helping them succeed in school. I have learned several skills and techniques of how to teach students as well as to help them understand subjects that they may be struggling in. I have gone to the BOys and Girls club a couple of times where I have assisted kids after school with working on their homework. I have a high interest in teaching kids and would really love to gain the experience. I have worked with an autistic kid as well, which provided me with an insight with working with them and how to help them accomplish as much as they want.

I have wanted to be a teacher since I can remember. I love everything that has to do with school and guiding kids with their education. It has always been my passion to work with kids as well as help them to learn and achieve as much as possible and even beyond that. I hope to inspire kids as they realize what they are all truly capable of as well as to inspire them to continue on with their success.
